FENDI TURNS PEEK-A-BOOS INTO A MUST FOR SPRING 2026

Diversity at its finest. For the spring/summer 2026 ready-to-wear season at Milan Fashion Week, Silvia Venturini Fendi crafted a daring journey that fused sartorial finishes with sportswear, softened by vivid colors that conceal a secret. The result is a playful, unexpected collection that, in many ways, feels perfectly in line with the house’s work in recent years.

In this journey proposed by Fendi, the premise is spring and flowers, appearing as peek-a-boos among embroidered details and sheer organza. And despite the boldness of its color combinations, the collection seamlessly integrated elastic bands that held jackets and pockets, using contrasting tones to elevate the ensemble and reveal a new approach to styling.

The house takes the freshness of sportswear and raises it to a demi-couture level: sweatshirts with silk zippers, bermuda shorts and skirts with elastic waistbands, and braided sweaters whose bands echo their own hues, diffused into the palette of the season—yellow, red, orange, brown, and shades of cerulean.

The true protagonist lies in what is hidden, in what is shown “just a little”: the star-shaped embroidered flowers that reveal flashes of skin and, of course, the baguette and peek-a-boo bags that debuted on the runway. These gave the collection a surrealist touch and provided the brand with a sharper, more contemporary, and enduring identity.
